BRIEF: Casting announced for 'Bruise Easy' at American Theater Company

Dec. 16--American Theater Company has announced casting for "Bruise Easy," Dan LeFranc's new play about an estranged brother and sister who reconnect in the driveway of their childhood home.

The two siblings will be played by Kelly O'Sullivan (Tess) and Matt Farabee (Alec). O'Sullivan was seen last season at ATC in Stephen Karam's "The Humans."

The cast of "Bruise Easy" also features Matt Gomez-Hidaka, Jenna Makkaway, Michael Sandoval and Leah Schiffman, all members of ATC's youth ensemble, with Dante Guinazzo, Leslie Lawrence and Sandy Nguyen.

LeFranc previously premiered "The Big Meal" at ATC in 2011. The play extended off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons, where LeFranc is currently playwright-in-residence.

"Bruise Easy," to be directed by Joanie Schultz, runs Jan. 8 -- Feb. 14 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron St.
