BRIEF: Cast set for South Side native Echo Kellum's Comedy Central pilot

Oct. 30--South Side native Echo Kellum's Comedy Central pilot about the misadventures of twentysomethings has added a cast and a director, Deadline reported Friday.

Bryan Poyser ("Lovers of Hate") will direct the half-hour pilot of "Overanalyzers" while John Gemberling ("Broad City"), Jessy Hodges ("Beside Still Waters"), Milana Vayntrub ("The Mad Ones") and Justin Chon ("Twilight" films) have joined the cast.

Kellum, who acts in and serves as co-executive producer of "Overanalyzers," confirmed the news of the additions on Twitter. He appeared in the shortlived Fox comedy "Ben and Kate" and Glen Ellyn native Sean Hayes' canceled comedy "Sean Saves the World" and now stars on the CW superhero drama "Arrow."

Poyser tweeted Tuesday that the "Overanalyzers" pilot will start shooting in less than two weeks.
