BRIEF: Cast-change, 'Blister, Burn'

Jan. 12--The Goodman Theatre announced a cast replacement for its fast approaching production of Gina Gionfriddo's "Rapture, Blister, Burn" on Monday.

The role of Catherine, which was originally to be played by New York actress Robin Weigert, will now be played by Jennifer Coombs. Weigert departed the production last week, according to a press statement.

"Rapture, Blister, Burn" begins previews in the Goodman's Albert Theatre on Saturday.

The remainder of the cast is left intact. That group includes Mark L. Montgomery, Cassidy Slaughter-Mason, Mary Ann Thebus and Karen Janes Woditsch.

The show, directed by Kimberly Senior, runs Jan. 17 through Feb. 22 at the Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St.
