BRIEF: Caroline Neff will star in Simon Stephens' 'Wastwater' at Steep

May 20--Caroline Neff, recently named an ensemble member at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, will return to Steep Theatre to star in Simon Stephens' "Wastwater," it was announced Friday.

Neff joins a cast that includes Steep company members Peter Moore, Melissa Riemer, Nick Horst and Kendra Thulin, along with Joel Boyd, Richard Costes, Bernadette Santos Schwegel and Allison Anderson.

Stephens, an associate playwright with Steep and a Tony Award-winning playwright for "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," dives into three fragile relationships, and the deepest lake in England, in his latest play. Robin Witt will again direct, having helmed Steep's past productions of Stephens' plays.

"Wastwater" runs July 7-Aug. 13 at Steep Theatre, 1115 W. Berwyn Ave.
