BRIEF: Cards Against Humanity's Max Temkin pays $935,000 for Bucktown house

Oct. 21--Max Temkin, the co-creator of the party game Cards Against Humanity, last month paid $935,000 for a three-bedroom, 4,500-square-foot brick house in Bucktown.

The house had previously been used for industrial purposes before being converted to a live/work space. Features include hardwood floors, two fireplaces, a large family room with 11-foot exposed trussed ceilings and a master suite with built-ins, a deck and a new bath.

The house had been listed for $1.15 million and then was reduced to $1.05 million and to $959,000 before going under contract.

Temkin declined to comment on the purchase.
