March 02--Join artist and teacher Margaret Best for a botanical painting workshop on the rugged coast of Puglia in southern Italy. Participants will begin their excursion by exploring the white-washed buildings and cobbled streets of Monopoli, then spend seven days at a restored farmhouse, painting in a garden studio overlooking olive groves and the Adriatic Sea.
Other highlights of the tour, organized by Quench, include visits to nearby Baroque towns, a botanist-led tour of the Botanic Gardens of Monopoli, entrance to the private Pomona Gardens and a hands-on cooking class with a Puglian chef. A final evening reception will showcase the artists' works to the local community.
