BRIEF: Candace Parker shows rim height just fine, dunk you very much

April 01--Candace Parker got in the middle of the WNBA rim height controversy and slammed home her point.

In an Instagram video posted Friday, the Los Angeles Sparks star and Naperville native dunks a basketball and shrugs, "Ten feet, 8 feet. It don't matter." Was the rim the regulation height of 10 feet? Who knows?

Parker was having fun with the debate that saw the Sky's Elena Delle Donne and Phoenix's Diana Taurasi on opposite sides. Delle Donne has advocated for lowering the rim height in WNBA games, saying it will help female players show off their athleticism and perhaps dunk more.

Taurasi ridiculed the idea. "Might as well put us in skirts and back in the kitchen," she said on espw.com this week.

Parker added several hashtags to her caption making light of the controversy, including "#WhyIsntThereABallDiscussion," and #BarefootAndPreggoInTheKitchen."
