June 10--Active families can explore Northern California's Redwood Empire on a new six-day excursion offered by Backroads. Bike and hike among the redwoods in national and state parks, kayak in Humboldt Lagoons State Park and discover the charming town of Ferndale.
Along the way participants will camp in the Albee Creek, Patrick's Point and Elk Prairie campgrounds. Recommended minimum age, 6 years.
