Dec. 10--Roundabout Theatre Company has announced casting for the national tour of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's production of "Cabaret," including Chicago actress Shannon Cochran. The tour of John Kander and Fred Ebb's Tony-winning Kit Kat Klub musical will play the PrivateBank Theatre for a limited engagement from Feb. 9 -- 21, Broadway in Chicago announced Thursday.
Shannon Cochran, known from the national tour of "August: Osage County" and recently seen in Goodman's "Little Foxes," will play Fraulein Schneider. The cast features Randy Harrison, known from Showtime's "Queer as Folk," as the Emcee, with Andrea Goss as Sally Bowles, Alison Ewing as Fraulein Kost, Mark Nelson as Herr Schultz, Ned Noyes as Ernst Ludwig and Lee Aaron Rosen as Clifford Bradshaw.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 11 and are available at broadwayinchicago.com and 800-775-2000. The PrivateBank Theatre, formerly the Bank of America Theatre, is located at 18 W. Monroe St.
