BRIEF: 'C.S. Lewis Onstage' marks Max McLean's return to Chicago

May 24--Max McLean will return to Chicago to perform in "C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert," McLean's Fellowship for Performing Arts announced Tuesday.

McLean, seen in "Mark's Gospel" in 2009 and the 2008 production of C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters," will star in the one-man show at the Mercury Theater this summer. The one-act, adapted from Lewis' writing, follows the author's transformation from an atheist to a Christian intellectual.

"C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert" plays July 23-Aug. 14 at the Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport Ave.
