BRIEF: Byron Scott: It's a 'good possibility' Kobe Bryant will play Tuesday and Wednesday

March 22--Kobe Bryant will play Tuesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies, Lakers Coach Byron Scott said after the team's morning shoot-around.

Bryant also plans to travel with the team for Wednesday's game in Phoenix, setting up the possibility of playing in back-to-back games as he nears the end of his career.

"As of right now, that's a good possibility," Scott said.

Bryant, 37, has been in and out of the lineup since declaring his intent to retire after this season.

Scott said he "absolutely" thought Bryant would make it to the April 13 season finale against Utah. Bryant has been bothered primarily by a sore right shoulder.

"Very optimistic about it but I'm still nervous about it as well," Scott said. "I do feel that we're doing all the right things and he's doing all the right things as far as making sure that he's as healthy as he can be to play and not put himself at a big-time risk."
