BRIEF: Burglars hit Northwest Side school 3 times in a month

Oct. 30--A Palmer Square school has been burglarized three times since early last month, Chicago police said Friday.

The burglars rode up on bicycles and cut a window screen to enter the school at 3027 W. Palmer Blvd., which is the address of St. Sylvester School. In each instance they stole things from an office inside and fled on bicycles.

The burglars are described as two or three males of unknown race who could range in age from 13 to 20 years old. They were wearing hoods, gloves, hats and sunglasses.

The school was burglarized on Sept. 5 at 3 a.m., Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 17 at 12:10 a.m.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call police at 312-744-8263.
