Feb. 22--A Burbank police officer knocked unconscious during a fight Sunday night with an assault and vandalism suspect was reported in good condition Monday morning, police said.

About 11 p.m., officers responded to Glenoaks Boulevard and Santa Anita Avenue after the man reportedly assaulted a 50-year-old woman and kicked through a glass window, said Burbank Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco.

The man was combative and fought two officers, one of whom was left unconscious and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
