BRIEF: Bulls to open season vs. Cavaliers at home: source

Aug. 11--The NBA will announce the 2015-16 schedule on Wednesday at 5 p.m. Central in a televised special on NBA-TV, but a version circulated to teams placed the Bulls opener against the Cavaliers at the United Center on Oct. 27, a source said.

This version confirmed a report in The Oklahoman that the Bulls will play the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Christmas Day.

Additionally, the Bulls are scheduled to finish a back-to-back set of games the next night in Dallas, the source said.

The Bulls are also scheduled to play the defending NBA champion Warriors in November on the first of three extended trips, this one to make way for the circus at the United Center.
