BRIEF: Bulls' Nikola Mirotic out indefinitely with concussion

Dec. 03--Nikola Mirotic suffered a concussion and cut on his face in the first quarter of the Bulls game against the Nuggets Monday night and will miss the rest of the contest.

Mirotic also will have to pass league-mandated tests per concussion protocol before he is cleared to play in future games.

Mirotic suffered the injury while trying to take a charge from Emmanuel Mudiay at the 7 minute, 23 second mark of the first quarter. Mirotic spent several minutes on the ground before walking straight to the locker room with trainer Jeff Tanaka.

Joakim Noah replaced Mirotic in the first quarter. Joakim Noah started the second half for Mirotic.
