BRIEF: Bulls' Nikola Mirotic out for Game 3 vs. Bucks

April 22--Nikola Mirotic's strained left quadriceps is improving, but the talented rookie is out for Game 3 on Thursday in Milwaukee.

Mirotic rode a stationary bicycle during the Bulls' Wednesday practice and got up some set shots afterward.

"He's feeling better but he still has a ways to go," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We've dealt with injuries all year. So next guy just get in there and get it done."

One of those guys likely will be Kirk Hinrich, who practiced fully and is expected to return after missing four games because of a hyperextended left knee. He is officially listed as questionable.

The Bulls lead the Bucks 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

"They've been two hard-fought games," Thibodeau said. "That's sort of the nature of the playoffs. You're on the road now; you have to play tough. The margin of error will be small. We gotta take care of the ball. And we got to be ready from the start."
