BRIEF: Bulls' Jimmy Butler voted to All-Defensive second team

May 20--For the second straight year, Jimmy Butler has been voted to the NBA's All-Defensive second team.

Butler, whom coach Tom Thibodeau consistently called one of the league's best two-way players, drew 44 first- and 44 second-team votes to join Andrew Bogut, Anthony Davis, John Wall and Tim Duncan on the second team.

Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, Tony Allen, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan comprised the first team.

Joakim Noah, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year and All-Defensive first team last season, drew six second-team votes in a sign of how far he fell this season. Surprisingly, Pau Gasol drew three second-team votes.

Butler already won the NBA's Most Improved Player award for his huge offensive jump this season that featured him averaging a team-high 20 points.
