BRIEF: Bulls gameday: Joakim Noah out, Taj Gibson probable

Dec. 12--The Bulls blew out the Nets on Wednesday without Joakim Noah. They'll hope to get past a much better (17-5) Trail Blazers team on Friday night at the United Center without their all-star center again.

Still bothered by a right ankle sprain, Noah declared himself day-to-day.

Taj Gibson is probable with soreness in his left ankle.

"We'll see," coach Tom Thibodeau said regarding Gibson Friday morning after the team shootaround at the United Center.

Said Noah: "If I can play, I can play. My ankle is still bothering me, so I have to be smart. It's lingering. But you know, it's the life we chose. I'm doing all the rehab and getting all the information. Hopefully it won't be too much longer."
