BRIEF: Bulls Gameday: Chicago leads 46-40 at the break

Dec. 24--WASHINGTON -- The Bulls didn't make much of an entrance Tuesday, falling behind early in the nation's capital.

But do they ever know how to finish.

The first-quarter ended with Aaron Brooks driving and dishing to Pau Gasol, who nailed his first 3-pointer of the season (in his fourth attempt).

And the half ended with Derrick Rose hoisting a 3 that went in, out and down, giving the Bulls a 46-40 edge over the Wizards at the break.

They're shooting just 40.5 percent with seven assists on 17 baskets.

But the Wizards have made just 1 of 2 from downtown and 1 of 3 from the foul line.

Gasol has a team-high 10 points, while Joakim Noah has a team-best eight boards. Noah has scored six points -- all on dunks.
