BRIEF: Bulls Game Day: Lead Timberwolves at half

Nov. 02--MINNEAPOLIS -- It's Game No. 3 and the first back-to-back of the young Bulls' season.

Aaron Brooks and Jimmy Butler each scored 13 points and Nikola Mirotic added 12 as the Bulls grabbed a 63-49 halftime lead over the Timberwolves Saturday night at Target Center. The Bulls shot 57.5 percent, including 50 percent from 3-point land. They are playing without Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson, both of whom succumbed to their sprained ankles. Butler is making his season debut from a sprained left thumb.
