BRIEF: Monday's recap: Bulls 92, Spurs 89

Dec. 01--The Bulls began a stretch of nine of 10 home games with a 92-89 victory over the Spurs Monday night at the United Center. Pau Gasol's 18 points and 13 rebounds led the Bulls, who secured victory when Derrick Rose partially blocked Tony Parker's 3-point attempt at the buzzer. Kawhi Leonard's 25 points led the Spurs.

E'Twaun Moore and Joakim Noah sparked an 11-2 run to open the fourth quarter that changed the momentum of the game.

Gasol. His thunderous block of LaMarcus Aldridge with just over a minute left led to him getting fouled at the other end and splitting two free throws to break a tie.
