BRIEF: Saturday's recap: Bulls 98, Pelicans 94

Dec. 13--The Bulls rallied in the fourth quarter for a nerve-wracking 98-94 victory over the Pelicans Saturday night at the United Center. Aaron Brooks scored 15 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter as the Bulls' bench outscored the Pelicans' 52-21. Pau Gasol's 18 points and 11 rebounds led the Bulls.

Turning point

The fourth quarter. The Bulls took their first lead since 6-5 early in the first and made all the big plays down the stretch.

Brooks. Out of the rotation as recently as two games ago, the scoring sparkplug delivered the go-ahead basket in the final minute.

Injury update

The Pelicans played without Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson and Quincy Pondexter, significant losses all. The Bulls missed only Mike Dunleavy.
