June 01--Dave Leitao, who returned to DePaul for a second stint as basketball coach in March, made another addition to his staff Monday.
Bryan Tibaldi has been named DePaul's director of basketball operations after spending the last four seasons in the same role at Missouri.
Tibaldi, a 2007 graduate of Michigan State who played as a walk-on for coach Tom Izzo, worked with Leitao and DePaul associate head coach Rick Carter at Missouri (2012-14) on the staff of coach Frank Haith.
"Bryan will be an integral element of our daily operations in coordinating our team travel, recruiting and academics," Leitao said in a statement. "His familiarity with myself and Rick as well as the city of Chicago will be vital for our program and student-athlete success."
Tibaldi spent two seasons with the Bulls, serving as assistant video coordinator during the 2009-10 season and as a basketball operations assistant in the 2010-2011 season.
