BRIEF: Bruce Springsteen coming to United Center in January

Dec. 04--Bruce Springsteen's nine-week The River Tour will be stopping in Chicago on January 19.

The rocker and his E Street Band are looking to capitalize on the new release, "The Ties That Bind: The River Collection," an in-depth look at the period behind Springsteen's "The River" album.

This tour is the first for Springsteen and the E Street Band since 2014. The E Street Band lineup includes stalwarts such as Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Stevie Van Zandt and Max Weinberg.

Tickets for the Chicago tour date go on sale December 11 at 10 a.m., through Ticketmaster and at the United Center box office. Reserved seats ($150/$105/$55) and general admission main floor tickets ($150) will be available at the United Center box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.
