BRIEF: Thursday's recap: Dodgers 6, White Sox 1

March 04--The Dodgers outhit the White Sox 12-3 in the Cactus League opener at Camelback Ranch. Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw pitched two scoreless innings. Second baseman Brett Lawrie scored the only Sox run when he walked, advanced on a groundout and came home on Todd Frazier's sacrifice fly in the sixth.

At the plate: Catcher Dioner Navarro was 2-for-2.

On the mound: John Danks gave up three earned runs, including a homer to Alex Guerrero in the second inning.

In the field: Left fielder Jerry Sands threw out Austin Barnes at second base as he tried to stretch a single into a double in the sixth inning.

Key number: 2: Earned runs Sox reliever Zach Putnam allowed on four hits in one inning.
