BRIEF: Brandon Marshall stands by Marc Trestman: 'He's our guy'

Nov. 11--Brandon Marshall does not feel that Marc Trestman is the reason the Bears are 3-6 and in last place in the NFC North.

The Bears have been blown out in consecutive losses to the Patriots and Packers, setting dubious club records each week for most points allowed in the first half.

"When you talk about Coach Trestman ... he's our guy. We've got to roll with Coach Trestman," Marshall said Monday on "The Waddle Silvy Show" on WMVP-AM (1000). "Honestly, I have never been around someone better.

"Coach will tell you there are things he can do differently. No one's perfect. But trust me on this, he's our guy. We fight through this ... we get through this and maybe we turn it around, maybe we don't. But next year I am sure Coach is going to do his due diligence and get this turned around."

Marshall also had complimentary things to say about the rest of Trestman's beleaguered staff.

"That's the confusing part," he said.

The Bears, who are 0-3 at home, host the Vikings on Sunday at Soldier Field.

"We have to win out. Let's do it," Marshall said.
