Dec. 08--Police say a missing 9-year-old boy safely returned to his home in the South Shore neighborhood late Monday night.
The boy had been last seen leaving Bouchet Elementary Math Science Academy at 7355 S. Jeffery Ave. around 3:45 p.m. Monday, prompting an alert from the Chicago Police Department.
He returned to his home in the area of the 7100 block of South Luella Avenue later that night, police said Tuesday morning.
