BRIEF: Boy, 17, shot in Bronzeville

March 24--A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Monday evening in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood, police said.

The shooting happened at 6:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Wabash Avenue, police said.

The teen suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and arm and was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

No other information was available.
