March 08--A 15-year-old boy was in critical condition after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle Saturday afternoon in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The boy was riding in the 4200 block of West Cortland Street around 1:30 p.m. when a driver going west on Cortland crashed into him and fled, said Chicago police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco.
The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Pacheco said.
The police Major Accidents Unit is still investigating.
