BRIEF: Boy, 14, missing from West Side

Nov. 17--Chicago police are searching for a 14-year-old who has been missing from his West Side home since last week, officials said.

Robert "Rob" Horn last had contact with his family Friday and lives on the 1000 block of South Lytle Street, according to a missing person alert.

He is described as black, with a medium complexion. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair, police said.

According to police, the teen had his hair in shoulder-length dreadlocks, and was last seen wearing a blue Columbia fleece jacket, a green short-sleeved uniform shirt, black pants and black shoes.

According to the alert, the teen frequents the areas near Van Buren Street and Laramie Avenue as well as the area near Chicago and Cambridge avenues.
