BRIEF: UPDATE: Boy, 13, is located after disappearing from Logan Square neighborhood

Nov. 13--A 13-year-old boy who left for school Wednesday but did not return home has been located, police said Thursday evening.

Christian Vanegas had been last seen leaving his home in the 3700 block of West Palmer Street. He was wearing a royal-blue sweater with Mickey Mouse on the front, navy blue pants, black shoes, and was carrying a black and gray Jordan backpack, said police.

Police said he was with a 12-year-old girl named Victoria Aguaiza who also was missing and has been found safe.

Christian is described as a Hispanic boy with an olive complexion, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information should contact the Chicago Police Area North Special Victims Unit at 312-744-8261.
