BRIEF: Boy, 10, hurt in hit-and-run crash in Little Village

April 13--A 10-year-old boy was crossing the street Sunday evening when he was struck and hurt by a car in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side.

A dark-colored sedan was traveling northbound in the 2400 block of South Saint Louis Avenue when it hit the boy around 6:40 p.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Stacey Cooper.

The car did not stop. The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in good condition, Cooper said.

Police department's Major Accidents Unit is investigating the incident.

As of early Monday morning, no one was in custody.
