Feb. 22--Homicide detectives were headed to the bottom of a dusty trail in Altadena on Monday morning after a hiker reported finding two bones that could be human, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.
The two bones were found Sunday about 6 p.m. in an area difficult to access near a trail off Lake Avenue and Loma Alta Drive, said Deputy Jonathan Lested. They appeared to be from a leg, Lested said.
