Nov. 20--Chicago police were on the scene at the Swissotel Thursday evening investigating a bomb threat later discovered to be unfounded.
Police were notified about 4:30 p.m. about the telephoned threat. Officers responded to the 300 block of East Wacker Drive to investigate, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman. The Swissotel is located at 323 E. Wacker Drive.
As of 6:10 p.m., officials reported the threat was unfounded.
