BRIEF: Body of man pulled from water near Union Station

Dec. 12--A body of a man was pulled from the Chicago River near Union Station Saturday afternoon, police said.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., the Chicago Police Marine Unit responded at the 200 block of South Riverside Plaza for a report of a body in the river, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago police spokeman.

An adult male was pulled from the water, but he has not been identified, Estrada said.

Police are conducting a death investigation into the man's death.
