BRIEF: Body of man pulled from lagoon near Museum of Science and Industry

Dec. 12--A body of a man was pulled from the Jackson Park Lagoon near the Musuem of Science and Industry in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood Saturday morning, officials said.

The Chicago Police Department Marine Unit responded about 9:30 a.m. to a call of a body in the water near the museum, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

Sedevic said the victim is between 20 to 30 years of age, but has not been identified.

Police are conducting a death investigation, she said.
