Oct. 06--The body of a 78-year-old man was pulled from Lake Michigan near Montrose Harbor Monday evening, police said.
Police marine unit officers responded to a call of a person in the water and discovered the body near the harbor around 5:20 p.m., according to Officer Hector Alfaro, a Police Department spokesman.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Alfaro said.
Police were conducting a death investigation. No other information was available.
