Dec. 24--Police made a grisly Christmas Eve morning discovery near an Inglewood 7-Eleven: A body was found on fire.
Los Angeles County firefighters were dispatched to the 1000 block of La Brea Avenue about 6 a.m., officials said.
Responders found the man's body aflame, an Inglewood police official said.
The exact cause of death has yet to be determined and the man's identity has not been released.
There have been six homicides within a mile of Wednesday's discovery in the last year, according to the Homicide Report.
