March 09--The body of a man was found floating in the Chicago River in the Lakeview neighborhood Monday morning, according to police.
Someone called police about 8:30 a.m. to report what looked like a body behind the 2900 block of North Oakley Avenue on the North Side, police said.
The Chicago police marine unit responded and recovered the body, police said.
Police are conducting a death investigation, officials said. No other information was available.
