June 10--Police found a body in the water Wednesday afternoon after responding to a marine distress call about 12:45 p.m.
The body was found somewhere off Navy Pier -- police responded to 1000 E. Grand Ave. and found the person, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person found was male, but police aren't certain of his age. Detectives are conducting a death investigation.
