April 20--A body was found in the Calumet River on the Far South Side on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
Police were notified after someone saw the body about 3:20 p.m. near 125th Street and Torrence Avenue, authorities said.
When the Chicago police marine unit responded, they found badly decomposed body in the water, authorities said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office said it was notified but had no information available.
