BRIEF: Body found in burning vehicle on West Side

April 03--A body was discovered inside a burned vehicle this morning on the West Side in the city's West Garfield Park neighborhood.

Chicago firefighters responded shortly after 7 a.m. to a call of a vehicle fire on the 4500 block of West Fulton Street. Once the fire was extinguished, a body was discovered inside of the vehicle, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.

Sullivan said as of Friday morning, there was no information available about the gender of the body and police were investigating.
