BRIEF: Bloody Mary Fest heading to Logan Square

March 21--Brunch enthusiasts, this one's for you: Tickets for the inaugural Bloody Mary Fest go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The festival will be held at Logan Square Auditorium on Sunday, May 15, with attendees tasting and voting on the city's best bloodies.

A pass to the fest ($45) includes 12 tasting tickets, each good for a 3-ounce sample from bloody mary competitors from all over the city. The four announced as of this writing: Howells Hood, The Gage, Paddy Long's and Mash. Additional competitors will be announced each week leading up to the main event.

Attendees will also receive four tickets for samples from other drink stations (mimosa, bloody Bourbon and craft beer, among others) and four tickets for full 8- or 12-ounce drinks. Passed food will be brunch-themed.
