Nov. 06--The Blackhawks revealed what they will wear in the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic against the Washington Capitals on Monday.
The white sweater, modeled by Brandon Saad, debuted at the new Blackhawks Store on Michigan Ave. It features logos on each sleeve and a lace-up collar, inspired by the Hawks' 1957 jersey.
Patrick Sharp was supposed to be at the event, but he suffered a leg injury in last night's 5-0 win over the Canadiens.
The game will take place on Jan. 1, 2015, at 12 p.m. CT in Washington, D.C.
The Blackhawks also played in the Winter Classic in 2009, hosting the Red Wings at Wrigley Field. They also faced the Penguins at Soldier Field on March 1, 2014, in the NHL Stadium Series.
