May 11--The Blackhawks signed defenseman Gustav Forsling to a three-year deal.
Forsling, 19, had 21 points (6 goals, 15 assists) through 48 games with the Swedish Hockey League's Linkoping HC.
The native of Linkoping, Sweden, was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL draft.
The Blackhawks acquired him on Jan. 29, 2015, from the Canucks in exchange for defenseman Adam Clendening.
