Oct. 16--After dropping three of their first five games, the Blackhawks are making some changes to their roster.
The Hawks recalled Vincent Hinostroza to their roster and re-assigned winger Kyle Baun to Rockford.
Hinostroza had a strong training camp for the Hawks after signing with the Hawks in March. Hinostroza played two seasons at Notre Dame before signing with the Hawks.
Baun played in two games this season, including Thursday's 4-1 loss against the Capitals. Hinostroza has yet to make his NHL debut.
The Hawks also assigned defenseman Kyle Cumiskey to Rockford after Cumiskey cleared waivers. The Hawks signed Cumiskey to a one-year deal Thursday.
