Feb. 07--The Blackhawks reassigned defenseman Viktor Svedberg to the Rockford Ice Hogs on Sunday.
The 6-foot-8 Svedberg has played in 16 games this season with the Hawks, tallying three points (one goal and one assist).
The rookie played 15 games for the Hawks in October and November as he helped the team stay afloat while Duncan Keith recovered from knee surgery. He was called up again last week to replace the injured Michal Rozsival.
On Tuesday, the Hawks host the the Sharks.
