BRIEF: Blackhawks' Marian Hossa out vs. Blues, questionable for Friday

Nov. 04--Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa will miss his second consecutive game tonight against the Blues because of a lower-body injury, and it looks as if Hossa will miss Friday's game in New Jersey against the Devils as well.

Coach Joel Quenneville said Hossa was "questionable" to make the trip.

Quenneville also said Hossa was questionable for Monday's win over the Kings before Hossa was a scratch. Quenneville maintains that Hossa's injury is not serious and Hossa "won't be missing too much" time.

"It's keeping him rested and making sure he's 100 percent. He'll be fine," Quenneville said.

The Blackhawks face the Blues at the United Center for the first time this season, and the Blues had quite the time getting here.

The team was scheduled to fly into Chicago after its 3-0 loss to the Kings on Tuesday, but the flight was diverted to Milwaukee because of fog, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

The team then boarded a bus in Milwaukee and drove into Chicago, arriving at 4 a.m.
