Jan. 16--Behind a pair of goals from Patrick Kane, the Blackhawks lead the Maple Leafs 2-0 at the Air Canada Centre.
Kane's first goal came at 13 minutes, 7 seconds of the second period just after a Hawks power play expired. It came at the tail end of the some nifty puck movement among Kane, Artemi Panarin and Duncan Keith. Kane buried the shot from the right of the net to put the Hawks up 1-0.
Kane struck again on another power play a few minutes later. After he was the recipient of a high cross check from Matt Hunwick, Kane skated slowly to the bench, only to emerge on the ice a few moments later. He took a pass from Panarin, hesistated then buried another shot from the right circle for a 2-0 lead. It was Kane's 27th goal of the season.
