Jan. 06--Patrick Kane will have some company at the 2016 NHL All-Star Game as the NHL released the remaining rosters for the event Wednesday and Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews was named to the Central Division squad.
Toews has 14 goals and 12 assists and leads the league in faceoff percentage at 59.6 percent in 41 games this season and will participate in the three-on-three tournament that will feature three 20-minute games for a winner-take-all $1 million prize. It marks the fifth time in nine seasons that Toews has been selected as an All-Star. The game will be played Jan. 31 in Nashville.
Kane was one of four players elected by fan voting and will serve as a captain for the Central team.
Goaltender Corey Crawford, who leads the NHL with six shutouts and ranks third with 21 wins this season, was not selected.
